Frequently Asked Questions
Where is your studio?
Blink2 Studio isn’t a physical, brick and mortar building. I shoot out of a number of studio spaces all over the area, from Southern Maryland, to Northern Virginia. I also shoot on location just about anywhere within a couple hours drive. I’m a member of Union 206, so I shoot there, too.

How much do your pictures cost?
I don’t know how to answer that. I book photo sessions. Basic pricing is on the website. Each booking includes an online client gallery. From there you can choose any number of options. You can order prints of many sizes, framed or unframed. You can order albums, and you decide what photos go into them. Or you can order digital downloads suitable for social media or websites.
Prints cost about $5 for a 5×7, $12 for an 11 x 17, up to about $200 for a 40 x 60.
Matted and Framed prints start around $150 (5×7) and go up to $400 (20×24).
There are calendars, albums, acrylic prints, metal prints, canvas prints, and much more.
Through your client gallery, you’ll have the option to purchase any of these products for the period of time that your gallery is active.
Why are the Senior Portrait Sessions more expensive than your regular portrait sessions?
The session fees for all Senior Portrait Sessions include a professional makeup artist to prepare you for the shoot. Professionally applied makeup is a game changer. And yes, even the guys need to be professionally styled for their shoot so we’ll have a hair stylist there to get the men camera ready.
My goals for your senior portraits are to make you look great and give you a confidence boost that you’ll carry with you long after graduation. Having a professional stylist working with you contributes greatly to a polished result.
I do not want to change your look or paint over who you are in any way. As a matter of fact, the professional stylists that I work with are incredibly skilled in maintaining your natural look.
Additionally, every senior portrait session includes at least 6 high resolution digital images suitable for printing or optimizing for social media.
How long is my client gallery active?
With every session a gallery will be created and it will remain active for a period of not less than 30 days. If you’d like to extend that time, up to one year, that will be written into your contract. Three months is $25, six months $40, and a full year is $50.
Prices are subject to change based on hosting costs. But once your contract is in place and a deposit has been paid, the price for hosting your gallery is locked in and won’t change.
What do you specialize in?
Building self confidence. Get in front of my lens. You’ll see. Before every shoot there is a consultation. We’ll lay out a plan, get to know each other a little bit. Then on the day of your shoot, we’ll fire up the lights, get the shots and poses you want to see, mix in an idea or two of mine, and create images that you’ll love to look at and share.
Whether you a man or woman; tall or short; skinny or curvy; you’ve got a look that only you can pull off. I want that in my portfolio.
Are you LGBTQ friendly?
Absolutely. I do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, or anything else.
I’d love to have you as a client. I respect each person as the individual they are, it’s kinda what my brand is all about.
When should I book a Senior Portrait Session?
Absolutely anytime you feel like it… But maybe wait until the end of your junior year. I suggest planning ahead at least six weeks. Summer and fall are always popular but in reality, we’ll get great shots any time of the year.
If you want to showcase specific sports or hobbies, you can ask about multiple sittings spread across seasons.
